Preparing for our Adventure

Greetings all,

This is the first update to our blog, and is really a test to see if  this thing works as intended.  We are preparing for our departure Tuesday August 9^th.  Our first stop is the Grand Rapids, MI area to visit friends.  From there we will be heading West.  Our first stop will be near Davenport, IA on Thursday night if things go as planned.

Actually Walcott, IA at the I80 Truckstop, the largest in the US. We plan to visit the Truck Museum there if we make it before 5PM, and their store.  On Friday we will be headed toward Sioux Falls, SD.  Our first real stop will be the Badlands in SD.  We’re not sure where we will have WiFi to provide the next update.
